Hi Emilio, Bluesky introduced their bookmarks feature way after Skeets - so I will have to add an option to let users pick between local bookmarks (synced across iCloud) or Bluesky-based bookmarks. Will take some time. But - your Skeets bookmarks will sync via iCloud and Skeets also runs on Macs.

Testing the @skeetsapp.com bluesky app and I’m super impressed with how this app has come along. First used it for a bit late last year and the version today feels like a totally different app. Buttery, improved navigation bar (digging the new icons on them too), save position on timeline. 👏

Yeah, I think so. I've seen it mostly for 'viral' videos that a lot of people I follow quoted. Then you would see these right after another in the timeline.

I'm not sure yet. As with other features they were part of @skeetsapp.com first and were later introduced by @bsky.app itself - so now there is the question whether to sync it.
So far I've always been in favor of keeping anything that isn't public (Mute words, Bookmarks, Drafts, etc.) ...

Skeets 1.25.0 is out and it comes with a fresh new liquid look.
Finally, you can now also edit your profile and add pronouns and a website - both will be displayed in @bsky.app soon.

They are "private" in that they sit in the bsky AppView and can be seen by bsky employees (like DMs and Mute words). Also, if bsky's AppView were to go belly up they would be lost.

they already work. when you upload a GIF it will be converted to a video though.

Eventually I'll give users the choice, but for now bookmarks will remain privately stored on your device and synced across iCloud.

For now I'll keep bookmarks the way they are - privately stored on your device and privately synced through iCloud because I see this as a unique feature.
When I find the time I'll implement the bsky bookmarks and let users decide which one to use.
