Finished the demo and it's phenomenal. Got me hooked exploring this gorgeous island full of weirdo creatures and angry skeletons. The full release can't come soon enough

Argoman: The Video Game made it on stream! I'm glad Vinny enjoyed playing it and chat seem to be having a good time as well. Someone in chat wondered if I suffered through the movie to make this and yes I absolutely did, multiple times in fact

I finally started the Skyward Sword remaster, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The new controls are clever, and the 60 fps helps keep the adapted gameplay smooth. It also looks great too! The stylized, smeary, watercolor textures work really well in creating this vibe of being in a painted dream.

The PC port of Perfect Dark is currently one the of best ways to experience the game. Decided to turn my extended case study session into a full playthrough. Working on part 2 and probably a part 3 covering the bonus missions and shooting range, maybe even some (or all) combat simulator challenges.

I was really enjoying megabonk until I got to a tier 3 boss and had my desire to play more of the game completely soured

A mechanic that I find kind of underappreciated in games is lethal fall damage. I think it really adds a lot of depth to a games movement and level design when gravity is a serious threat, plus the inherent risk reward that's added when you contemplate a jump that you think you *might* make

I might post some screenshots soon. I've been trying to get the first mission near "finished" as a solid verticle slice. For subsequent missions, I plan to stick to just functional greyboxes and not worry about visuals, but I wanted to try and nail down a visual style sooner rather than later
