i dislike arguments against AI imagery that focus on its shortcomings, because there's an implication that if it improved (and it will) it would be more acceptable
in fact, the better it gets the more I will despise it. I dread the day that I truly can't discern if something is AI or not.

it's amusing how old tech often gets labelled as "slow", but one thing i really appreciate about my windows 98 machine is that it boots up in like 20 seconds, it's faster than my modern pc with an ssd in that regard
