Since Anjanath doesn't count (as much of a cool fantasy dinosaur it is), my first 2026 paleo art of a dinosaur- Ajkaceratops! Given its recent discoveries of being a ceratopsian dinosaur in Europe, I thought it'd be fun to draw it while I was thinking about it.

I love this brute wyvern with all my heart, from its design to its fight and ecology. If it wasn't for it, I would have never gotten into the Monster Hunter series, and it has a very special place in my heart because of that.

Gonna start making fanmade Monsters from monster hunter and putting them in a fake lil MH region. I've been having a lot of fun doing it so far- actually lmao.

This animal was part of the Clade Ornithomosauria, and were about the size of your average golden retriever. They had the some of the most teeth of any Ornithomimosaur we know of- and an exceptionally long face.

I found a much better random dinosaur generator- finding animals I haven’t seen before, such as this goober!

This is one of the earliest known dinosaurs, living in the Triassic period around 231 MYA. These bipedal animals were not actually theropods- despite their appearances! (Something I learned today…)

Hypsilophodon is a small lil ornithischian with teeth in the back of its mouth like other members of its clade.

This cretaceous animal was originally thought to be dubious, but luckily recent discoveries put it in a much more valid place than before!

Time: ~14 minutes
