Cheerio's and stick pretzels. . . I haven't found a substitute for either made in Canada.

I my desire to make the family recipe is coming up against my desire not to buy things made in the US 😢

Yes, we don't have grandparents close enough to come, and we never have trouble giving away our extra tickets!

Every month a different pair of classes host an assembly and parents (of those classes) are invited. The kids (at least mine) don't seem invested in our attendance. It means more events (if you've got >1 kid) but they're way less crowded.

Also a spring musical which I think will be chaos.

Our school got rid of the December concert this year. I can't say I'm sad about it.

My kids are so disappointed. They'll be getting goldeyes tickets instead this year. (Their request)

My "I only eat plain red sauce from a jar" kid has decided it's acceptable to add red lentils and puree. Huge win.

On Colbert he said he wears masks on the subway so he doesn't get COVID again.

We have a three pack of tickets. Our first game the air quality was awful (we didn't go). Last weekend was...wet. It was nice to be comfortable.

At least the weather was nice.

It annoys me as we aren't sick very often (we had a total of 2 sick days all last year between the three kids). But they always manage to mess something up.

We have appointments for Monday, so of course one of the kids is sick

I would just put in an obvious fake number if I was going to be there to fix it if they noticed, but it's too much for a 7 year old to have the conversation.

You would think so! Someday there will be a data breach and it will all change? But for now "no you can't go to the birthday party because the waver is stupid" would be a hard sell.

We definitely buy the 2kg jars. And one of my kids eats 90% of it.

Peanut butter is cheaper at the superstore right now. $4.97 or $10.97 for the 2kg one.

I feel my parents were trying to target off peak power when I left Ontario 18 years ago.

I'm glad you were in your vehicle. We once turned a corner in Yellowstone and there was a bison about 5 feet in front of us resting on the trail. It was uncomfortable.

Our kids daycare is really good about getting them out even when it's super cold, but they seem very strict with air quality. This is worse than the dead of winter.

We're really feeling the lack of outdoor time at daycare. The kids are struggling.
