Classic moment on a classic sitcom
There is so much for which to remember Rob Reiner. In my family, we have long treasured this one bit he did with Carroll O'Connor on "All in the Family." It has always made me laugh, no matter how many times I've watched it. And we all could use a good laugh these days

I wrote about the new theatrical release of KILL BILL as one movie with an intermission. www.rogerebert.com/reviews/kill...
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair movie review (2025) | Roger Ebert
This is a tremendous visceral experience, with radiant colors, slate-somber black-and-white, and geysers of crimson blood.

Pizzagate: If you replace the word “hot dog” with “little boy” and “pizza party” with “child sex orgy,” you will see the lengths these elites go to cover up their crimes.

Real elite emails: Send me nude pictures of those 8th graders we abused last weekend post-haste! I am the Ambassador to Turkey.

Bill Clinton can share a cell with Trump for all I care
Seeing someone say "Yes, prosecute Bill Clinton too" in reference to the files, and people are still thinking that's some deterrent?

If it will make you feel better, you can put him in jail first. Then all the rest of them. 🤷‍♂️

I hope I live long enough to see these MAGA criminals have their Goodfellas "Layla" montage.

Yes, Hakeen Jeffries talked for a long time. Great. Wake me up when he stops financing his campaigns with filthy money. I have a hard time being excited about words when actions just don't follow. I want politicians who aren't beholden to their investors. I want actual change, not speeches about it.

Case also in point: Better Man which tries to buck the trends of the biopic with a novel twist and it just gets laughed at, as much for its aesthetic flex as the money it cost to render it. Film thrives on creatives taking big swings, and companies financing them. Why do we care how much they lose?

I hesitate to call @mattzollerseitz.bsky.social's incisive piece on Steak n' Shake for @ebertvoices.bsky.social fiery, if only because in today's parlance that would mean he's intending to be incendiary. When in reality he's just spitting facts.

I guess I'm not so concerned about people stealing my personal information because if you can get a credit card with my credit rating, you deserve it.
