A great reminder. As one of those straight white men, I try hard to remember that my allyship needs to be active, but with a significant dose of humility that I might not have the right understanding and to be willing to update my priors hard. I’m not always good at that, but I try.

I’m in Mastriano’s district and the fascism is strong with that guy. Knew the guy who ran against him for senate and did well, but obviously not a really competitive district. Mastriano is gonna run for gov again, and communicating with his office as constituent is so frustrating.

Just photo ops. No town halls, no events, just scheduled visits to businesses and delivering books to libraries…… and of course voting to take away rights and stuff.

He’s my Rep. It sucks hard, but we’re dedicated. Fuck Mastriano as well who is worse than this guy.

How does this help Americans have affordable health care? Shouldn't the legislature, of which you are a part, have the final word on taxes for Americans? Why aren't you (and your colleagues) advocating for lower taxes (in the form of tariffs).

Aside from that, the EU trade deal will not put tariffs on pharmaceuticals that will ultimately make health care in the US MORE expensive. Despite voting for increased cuts to Medicaid and lower payments for SNAP, you have said you are for reductions in the cost to Americans for health care.

Oh, so THESE files can be released easy……. But THOSE files‽ I called my rep today and will do so every day this summer. I don’t think they are 4D chess on this one.
