Gotta get a Gumby
We’ve been having a rough go of it lately. Some routine blood work before a scheduled dental cleaning set off some alarm bells, and it turns out Eleanor Collie Dog has something called protein-losing enteropathy. We’re cautiously optimistic that we can treat it. Poor girlie.

This is about 5km from where I live. Hopefully they get it under wraps fast. I packed up the critters and brought them to Mom & Dad’s, air quality won’t be great for them.

Some mornings we go walk in the Salt Marsh and look at the birds. Today we learned about grasshoppers, and that we don’t like when they hop when we try to sniff them.

Gotta love being on the downward slope towards 40 and your parents still put your crayon art on their fridge 😂 (I was colouring with my nephew and drew it at his request - Aladdin is the obsession of the moment).

There is a carrot cake in my oven right now and therefore it smells amazing in here. Experimenting with kludging together two recipes to make an egg-free one.
