A diary comic I made over the summer:
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about losing my pets, the pain that no amount of pondering could prepare me for.

But then I think about my love for them, how it fills my heart and pours into my very being, into everything I do…(1/3)
This diary comic is a series of square images, with pencil-style, loose linework. On page one, it is only the black pencil lines and shades of gray. It shows Rory laying in bed with their dog on one side and their cat on the other, cuddled up under blankets and beside pillows. Rory has black wavy hair and slight bags under their eyes. They are also wearing a wrist support sleeve on their hand. In the foreground, there is a nightstand with a small dinosaur lamp, Rory’s glasses, and their iPhone. Rory is in the middle of the page, which is now a slightly warmer grey. Their hands are cradled in front of their chest. From this point, a soft pink glow emanates. The dog and cat from the first page are surrounding Rory, forming two sides of a heart. Swirls and ribbons of pencil marks, pink, and white follow the path of the dog and cat, outlining a heart around all of them. Returning to the same set up as the first page, except slightly zoomed in and instead of just shades of grey, the page is colored in shades of warm, desaturated pinks. Rory’s expression softens as they look at their pets. Zooming in further from the last page, and now the page is colored in more vibrant shades of warm pink: Rory nuzzles into their dog and rubs their cat’s chin.

This is yet another idea to “gamifying” the unique shark characteristics! 🎮✨

What if sharks' electro-sense could be used to find hidden magical treasures? They would be able to sense the electromagnetic field of objects or enemies emanating some kind of energy. ⚡️🦈⚡️

A anthro great hammerhead shark pink-skinned, she is a "Moontide Sorcerer" dressed in a white, starry tunic while holding a lunar staff. While a mystical star manifests above his head, shimmering in many colors, and his ampoules shine like points of light in his snout, she is feeling the magical emanations of a long-lost relic beneath the sands and crystals of an ancient ruin. She says to the human accompanying him: "It's here! I feel the magical emanations of the lost relic pulsating in my Electro-sense!" The human stares at the ground while holding a pickaxe. Beneath the sands is a layer of crystals surrounding like a geode what appears to be a human skull with a shiny jeweled ornament encrusted on its forehead. An imaginative exploration of how shark characters could make use of their electro-sense, a shark sense capable of capturing electrical pulsations and electromagnetic fields through their "Ampullae of Lorenzini".
