I actually somewhat enjoyed it. 4 big events a year and downtime was just prepping for it. But again I was either a Neet or a student at the time.

Drop rates were bad, but if you just cleared the event you could get most of the new ships. And they felt more special.

I played it a ton when I was a student. So easy to grind during classes. After AL launched I stuck to it pretty much. I tried KC few times. It's pretty decent with the EN patch, but still requires a lot of grind to even level up. Good old 3-2 is there no more.

Sorry. Was talking about Kancolle there. I have 100% collection in AL 😅

I would still play it of it didn't require you to be full on NEET. I don't have the time
