Another perfect, current example: Hechicero worked for 20ish years, nobody noticed him, he was in a match in AEW doing really really great ring work and the fans said "that's our guy" and boy howdy we love our big tiddy wrestling wizard

I fucking love that Hechicero is becoming a big star. It is a perfect example of why I love wrestling: Fans choose the stars. A promoter can do a lot but at the end of the road the buck stops at the fans. When the fans are unhappy they will hijack the show.
