Two New Yorkers died in the flooding last night.
Last year, @fi2w.org reported on the dangers of basement apartments — many people who live in them are immigrant New Yorkers whom the city has largely failed to protect.

Immigrant-focused newsrooms are reporting crucial information at a time of marked vulnerability for their key audiences — and themselves.
