I gotta say I don't think these signs are going to get through to voters who have no idea what Prop 1 or the Housing Trust Fund are. Most probably won't know if the sign wants them to vote for or against housing

Ask any local politician about housing policy and they will emphasize moving people from renting to homeownership as their top goal. But really that is just moving people from "severely cost burdened" status to "house poor" www.nola.com/news/busines...

The constant threat of a fiscal administrator is just as bad as an actual fiscal administrator. Will mean the same austerity policies get implemented. But technically will be implemented by the elected mayor and council

To me, it's exactly the same sort of thinking as Hakeem Jeffries saying the Dems will win back Congress because of health care costs. Everyone wants to profit from suffering these days. And, no. Nothing good will come from suffering
