I was wondering about this. When I was in elementary school in the 1960s, there were always a few blind kids around, one in every other grade or so, the same for summer camp. I don’t remember there being any blind children in my kids’ schools after vaccines were available.

She may have thought it would eventually help get her into power in her country, which would be worth way more than the chunk of metal. She couldn’t really transfer the Peace Prize, just the token of having received it.

This would be war with Europe. Terrifying and sickening.

So the Democrats have to engage more vigorously in the culture wars? This seems problematic and difficult, given that we are not authoritarians who operate in a closed loop.

Gun control may only happen if we hear these stories. They should release pictures of the carnage. People are too inured to these horrors.
