I love reading a book and remembering with a vengeance that yes! yes I love reading! Reading is so fun!
Anyway got through like a third of Piranesi in one sitting and I'm mad I have to stop for work. I'm so delighted by it immediately.

Part of this is me trying to avoid buying new books atm (saving space and money) so I've been picking up what I can from libraries and second hand books. not quite the books I WANT to read but the ones that are available to me.
One day my library request for Piranesi will come in. One day.

My reading lately has been balancing reading gothic classics for research that hold up very well and are very interesting... and then the MOST 3/5 modern books. Just constant "sometimes good, never great" books. I'm not saying old good, new bad. Perhaps a testament to why some books are classics.

I AM getting stuck between two conflicting anxieties of "oh man, maybe I wasted my 20s doing comics and I'm not even good at them" and "I have so many story ideas that im never going to get to and then I'm going to die".
But it might be because its 11 pm and I should go to bed lol
