Got held up by a semi-surprise snowstorm (another 4+ inches to add to the 8 we had over Saturday!), but took it slow on the backroads and lesser highways, made it home safe! Leftover cottage pie and cubed pork steak with cabbage, carrots and onions, then be going live!

Going live with a short strim for another run at making it to Great Palace in Zelda II. Made some polenta, and am a bit tired, but at least I'm off the phones, for now, at work! No stream tonight. Finally got the last pieces to put together the new AM5 gaming PC (7600X and 9060XT). Installed and setting up CachyOS, setting up and installing a few games to test in Steam and Heroic Games Launcher, maybe itchio later.

No stream tonight. Changed the oil on my car, which takes a bit longer than a standard car, plus I did a little reorganizing of my garage, and had to find my 10mm sockets. Figured out I need to get a 15mm 6-point socket, just to prevent rounding off the oil pan bolt at some point.

In other news, been setting up the C64 mini, preparing for the Atari 400 mini 8-bit computer comparison. RetroGames Ltd. did a fantastic job on both of these emulated recreations of classic microcomputers! Def recommend both for anyone into that classic 80s 8-bit computer feel.

In other news, been setting up the C64 mini, preparing for the Atari 400 mini 8-bit computer comparison. RetroGames Ltd. did a fantastic job on both of these emulated recreations of classic microcomputers! Def recommend both for anyone into that classic 80s 8-bit computer feel.
Plus, the project car I'll be working on later this year or next: my late brother's 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. Needs a lot of work (was car-jacked by a chop-shop in late 90s, sat for 15 years in my dad's garage before we cranked it over, then survived a garage fire!), but it'll get done right.

Should be live in a bit with the last bits of Mario Golf on GBC, just had to wash the car after the landscapers at work decided to spray it with grass clippings (likely not intentionally, but black car, so it just looked bad lol). All clean now, and ready to be waxed tomorrow!

No stream tonight, just a simple night grocery shopping, mowing the front lawn the first time this year, and cooking some kickass spicy tomato bisque ramen, including some fresh wild onion, and relaxing with a light tropical wheat beer.

Nothing tonight. Dental appt was fine (no cavities and gums are good), but way more tired than I thought, so just gonna chill out, be on tomorrow, unless the pot roast takes too long. In the meantime, some polenta with homemade roux and homemade mashed taters.
