Making placeholder melee animations

We're testing a Smash Bros style approach where short inputs do specific moves

Instead of long pre-set button sequences for combo/super moves you just make up your own combos

Hardest part is balancing with the FPS bits...

10 years ago we recorded a publisher pitch video for our 1st game

We used a Rockband mic dangled over a Taxidermied Elk head plugged into an old overheating Toshiba laptop that sounded like a jet engine

Not much has changed since...

I'm of the opinion if it's just for goofy meme fun AI generated stuff is not really that big of a deal

That said there is something more satisfying looking at some stupid Joke/Photoshop and knowing someone took time out of their day to bring it to life

Added in a highway system, but our hoverbike refuses to see the highway spline mesh as "solid" even though characters do

This is why gamedev is so time consuming...

You decide to add in something simple and it seemingly breaks for no reason haha
