This is Mushroom. She won’t let us pet her, but she follows us around from room to room and runs to the door when she hears the garage door open. She loves us in her own way….or she’s keeping tabs on us…🤔

I have five rescues! Two were long term fosters who couldn’t get adopted because every time I would take them to adoption events they would hiss and bite. But I think they did it on purpose so they could stay at my house. 😂

I have a book at all times. I recently learned about these things called transition objects, which is usually used in reference to children, but I think it’s emotional support for me as an adult!
