I hate people who tell you how poetry is supposed to be. There is no way for it to be. There are ways to improve written poetry but that doesn't mean it needs to be a way

you knocked down the door
veins pulsing,
grimmacing darkness,
death lingered
behind your eyes.
unwelcome,
you push me asude
fire burning under
each step.
this was my sacred place
where calmness reigned.
With a simple action
"blocked"
i want this anger
to stay for a while

is it the bricks laid
in a cookie-cutter home
a half-baked life
baked 9 to 6 daily
except the holy weekend
working a second job
so you can live
for the single moment
that you will be remember
half a week for?
A legacy is
