The amount of hoops I’ve had to jump through to make my “twitter” feed useable was crazy. I’ve barely used it over the last few months and I don’t miss it. I like seeing people’s shiny posts but I’d rather find another way than continue to be on X.

Yeah, it’s gotta be a personal balance. I also love watching reactions! I guess I just got sick of feeling like I needed to be recording my hunts all of the time lol

I think too many people in the community stress about ‘content’ /making sure they have access to their reaction. And while that’s a really cool part of shiny hunting, it’s not the reason I started. And it kind of kills the fun for me if I “need” to get setup to record to hunt

Personally I just don’t record and I’ll quickly grab the camera and start filming if I find something! I really like the excitement from clips like that from old shiny hunting videos and not every encounter needs to be recorded imo

That’s an hour and a half to learn the craft lol
