The backstory to this they lease the building here in Portland for ICE. ICE violated the lease multiple times as they’re not allowed to hold people overnight in the facility. Portland’s mayor told them they must vacate the building due to these violations. This is why Trump declared war on the city.

Lemme spell it out. Trump's only leverage over Jimmy Kimmel and ABC came from FCC regulation. His direct power over H1-B visas gives him similar leverage over tech, higher ed, and others.
