This seems important:
"Not once in recorded history has a fascist leader or their party been democratically elected and then democratically removed from power through standard means."
Great piece by @carmitage.bsky.social
Full Blown Secession?
Let's leave our collective pearl clutching at the door and take a moment to explore this academically.

Phone: (202) 225-4000

a congratulations card and on the inside of the card it says “Congrats on coming out! …As a gross traitor you weird little fascist gremlin!"

I'd love to hear YOUR predictions and hot takes on the following question:

SCOTUS just approved the Texas gerrymandered maps. What're the odds they strike down the Democratic gerrymandering in California?

My advice to Democrat leadership is this:

"Stop fundraising, stop taking corporate money, start supporting the policies that will actually help your constituents."

Do more of what you are meant to do.

It's in the job description.

You don't just get to “election” your way back to normal once you get to “beating and throwing people in unmarked vans and disappearing them”

Is the Heritage Foundation a domestic terrorism factory?

Maybe. I'm just asking questions.

AG James, America needs you. Again.

Jared Kushner and his company Affinity Partners are in clear violation of the Martin Act and their crimes have crossed through Manhattan.

Please initiate an investigation.

What if I told you that one email, one phone call, and one social media post could help put Jared Kushner in handcuffs?

But YOU & I must act to get it done.

Billionaires need to begin feeling the heat that results from their exploitations. Think French Revolution, but without guillotines. To work, Citizens!

Our federal government has been structurally captured in a way that even if Democrats win, they will be unable to enact the necessary structural changes and will appear useless
The feature, not the bug, is that progress comes in tiny and easily reversed increments while regression is rapid and agile

Republicans see everyone else as the enemy.

In what world is collaboration feasible under those circumstances?
December 4, 2025 at 3:44 PM
Modern elected Republicans see it as an error to force Nixon's resignation.

They will never willingly give up power and we MUST understand that

@carmitage.bsky.social has a fascinating new article out that we all should be reading. The Republican Party is a transnational criminal organization.

Mr. @carmitage.bsky.social brings the receipts, proving his contention. Our enemy is transnational; our response will need to be as well. The big question is not just, "What do we do?" but do we have the commitment to build the organization to do it?

We start as an organized, angry, but civil mob.

We do that often enough and politicians of all kinds will not have to discover their "spine"

We need them more afraid of the 99% than oligarchs or extremists.
