Here to escape the hellhole that is Twitter and do a bit of trolling
Once again, you can make this argument with any small time artist in the industry from voice actors to developer, moot point

Idk who needs to tell you this but AA games still do exist, they never stopped existing
December 18, 2025 at 1:25 AM
I guess voice actors should now be replaced because sometimes it takes them over a month to record all their lines. Ig developers should be replaced because their work takes months-years to finish

You know it's really funny because this train of thought is diminishing to almost every other concept artist in the industry by saying that obviously their work wouldn't have gotten this support unless they used AI. Definitely not validating every argument against you
December 18, 2025 at 12:55 AM
You are simultaneously arguing that AI is helping manage budgets but that the things it's generating are out there with no one being hired to do it so it doesn't take away anyone's jobs. Either way, the conclusion that AI's usage is a bad thing applies to both arguments so bringing this up is moot
December 18, 2025 at 12:47 AM
Ok so there's even less of a reason for them to use AI lmao
December 18, 2025 at 12:41 AM
More whataboutisms
December 18, 2025 at 12:34 AM
Holding artists' lives over people's heads on this matter holds no weight when you have shown no care towards concept artists and treat them as entirely disposable, this is hilariously shallow
December 18, 2025 at 12:34 AM
If what you're saying is true and they couldn't have hired artists they should've waited before getting the necessary funds or just not made the game to begin with. Even if E33 was the greatest game of all time (which, lol), it would never justify any of this
December 18, 2025 at 12:22 AM
"Guys, AI may be causing mass environmental damage and setting a precedent for putting people out of jobs but you don't understand, it was needed to make a video game so it's fine," Not even a corporate bootlicker could sacrifice their morals and integrity for a goddamn video game this hard
December 18, 2025 at 12:19 AM
Ok, and? Is the implication here that there was literally no other place the budget could've been cut down on during production so they could actually hire people to do a job because I doubt that's the case
December 18, 2025 at 12:03 AM
It detracts from the very concept of art, and the mindset that AI is only bad if it does something explicitly bad is incredibly flawed. Concept art designers are still workers too or is their exclusion here inconsequential and lesser to you?
December 17, 2025 at 11:55 PM
Also, what you are saying attributes the game's success to AI rather than the artists who actually worked on it, by implying the game would not be at this level of quality without AI, which is literally proving the point
December 17, 2025 at 11:25 PM
Fun fact, other indie games released this year have been great if not better than E33 without needing to resort to AI, to say nothing of indie games released in years past.
December 17, 2025 at 11:23 PM
A flawed analogy is not helping your argument. This discussion wasn't even about corporations to begin with, you were just that desperate to defend your AI video game that you had to resort to whataboutisms because you had no actual defence
December 17, 2025 at 11:06 PM
Even if that's true, it is still causing damage though. Why are you so determined to make this an "AI vs corporations" debate as if you are a child who can't dislike 2 different things?
December 17, 2025 at 10:43 PM
Sucking up to AI makes you no different from being a Disney shill
December 17, 2025 at 10:27 PM
Honestly man, that ending was just so abrupt
December 17, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Fair review, though the ending of the paragraph about the representation of disabled people and women being about Ninjago City being retconned to be a harbour city is very funny
December 17, 2025 at 1:22 PM
Holy shit, oomf is playing peak?
