I got my Missoulian painting re-matted today and I’m so happy with how it came out!

Fun fact: I won the painting at an “Ugly Christmas Sweater” party the last year we were still in the downtown building. Certainly one of my most prized possessions.

A year ago this week I criss-crossed the state on a mission to better understand four-day school weeks in Montana as a reporting fellow with the Education Writers Association.

I covered more than 1,200 miles, making pit stops in communities that adopted the alternative schedule.
