Yeah, there's no way I'm getting this done tonight. That's fine, it'll be ready for 7.5...hopefully. The face glow-up though, I'm very proud of it!

I started this like a few days before FFXIV:Dawntrail came out, in an attempt to make a last minute "Maintenance Erenville." Got nowhere near finished before said maintenance, and cast it aside.
Now I'm going to repeat said mistake and see how much I can fix before maintenance...tonight.

First attempt at the Asaro method/planar study of the head. After years of repeating the Loomis method over and over its nice to be changing this up. My brain really gravitates towards more geometrical/mathematical stuff so this tickles it in lots of ways

A couple warmups I like to do involve the classic "cube in perspective" and constructing a sphere within a cube. Both really help me to get my mind thinking about space and perspective as I'm drawing. And as a beginner, I find it easy to forget those things as I'm drawing.

Except that whole "Hates weird people thing," because I don't like the word "weird" and usually the people that are considered "weird" are the people I bond best with.
