New acquisitions! A friend and I visited the Westward Distillery yesterday. I've had the Stout Cask (R) before. The other (L) is a limited edition whiskey finished in 40yr Congnac barrels. It is very good.

Tonight we're trying the Arran Sherry Cask. This is my "influencer" assessment of this seminal whisky: Hey, this is really good. It smells good. It taste good. I like it! It's a little hot for my 40%ABV palette so a few drops of artesian well water does wonders for me. Score: it's a keeper!

Tonight we're trying the Arran Sherry Cask. This is my "influencer" assessment of this seminal whisky: Hey, this is really good. It smells good. It taste good. I like it! It's a little hot for my 40%ABV palette so a few drops of artesian well water does wonders for me. Score: it's a keeper!
