Every time I go up Pershing to north park and I go by the pedestrian crossing at Jacaranda is see this SLOW paint ONLY IN THE BIKE LANE, but no similar paint for cars. Pisses me off every time.

My wife grew up in Carmel and went to Carmel High School. I’m from northern Indiana and we met at Purdue. We now live in San Diego but almost all our families resides in the greater Indianapolis area.
I’ve had a chance to ride the Monon and the B&O trail out in Brownsburg and they are amazing!

The crappy bike rack at the Vons by my house. I have to park sideways to lock my bike through the frame and then I take up most of the rack with just a single bike!

I was visiting a few months ago for work and we had to drive from London to Wales. Once we entered Wales, the signage got much more real! The Welsh seemed to take the dangers of driving more seriously if at all based on the signs on the road

We recently had a family vacation at Disneyland and stayed at an Airbnb close to the resort on one of the Anaheim bus routes. One day the bus just didn’t show up and we were forced to walk back to the Airbnb across this terrible intersection.

Yesterday I broke my left hand mountain biking in Balboa Park.
I’m very sad and bummed. The recovery will be a couple months and during that time I won’t be able to bike at all. I’m thankful that at least I was doing something I love and wasn’t hit by a car.

I have the older version of the Thule Yepp maxi rack mount seat. This one has a dial and you just tighten it until it clamps down on the rear abound rack. The new version of this seat might fit but I haven’t tried it.
