(And yes hindsight is 20/20 but goddamn the #Niners should have let #Aiyuk walk and kept #Deebo with that money.)

Shook hands with Rickey Henderson in a club in San Diego towards the end of his MLB career.

The huge brown table that has been in the family for decades is still with my mom and I fear the same destruction will happen to that too.

Mordor wasn't exactly a pleasant place to live, either.

This is clearly a "last team to score wins" kind of game.

My older son is a fervent Crazy Cat's Eyes fan. My younger son is a Savage Speeders fan. Both have the respective t-shirts.

Jelle's was absolutely a wonderful passtime during the pandemic lockdown.

NHL reffing is such a joke.

Great time to work on all the skills in a defense-optional game like this.

Every citizen is drafted into the civil service for 1 year post-high school or 2 years post-college, the civil service being things like AmeriCorps, Teach For America, etc.

Exemptions, of course, for those who join the military.

I mean if they are forced to perform, having all the musicians go up and repeatedly yelling "NO KINGS!" followed by blaring their horns atonally, would be a performance.

Ah, I missed the context of the non-incumbent Kat Abu campaign.

Do we call these Schedule AI Cases?

How do parents choose to name one child "Max" and the other child "Fish"?

Can we do an "accountability tour" instead? Saying "I'm sorry" without the subsequent, "How can I fix it?" doesn't really give confidence that the apology is sincere or useful.
December 26, 2025 at 12:30 AM
The only way this gets better is if there is real accountability. That means more than poverty, that means criminal convictions. And if that doesn't happen, then this scum has to expect frustrated vigilante justice for the rest of their lives.

The failure mode has to be safe, not stuck.
December 26, 2025 at 12:19 AM
What? That was also a bad faith excuse by awful human beings to vote for Malice And Greed, Always?
December 25, 2025 at 11:55 PM
Right there with you, Ms. Lopatto.
December 25, 2025 at 11:29 PM
All of the grievance is in bad faith. It's just a Regan-era tradition to frame it as the government's fault because of regulation that is so burdensome which tries to keep society equitable.
