Took the photo on the left at Denver International Airport just before my Southwest flight took off to avoid the T'storms coming into Denver, CO on August 30th. Photos with the cute [gay] rainbows on the furthermost right were taken above Denver!

Sad news from my family today, as Felix (our oldest cat) has passed away.

There's truly never enough time on this planet with our furry family members. Today, we sadly said goodbye to Felix the Cat, the last surviving cast member of our Odd Couple, as he told my mom it was his time to sign off the air. As he was the oldest of our cats, it is hitting us all really hard right now. My mom's cat from the start, he would've been 16 years old this year, right on my dad's birthday and parents' 16th wedding anniversary. He would also cat-call my parents in order to get them to go to bed too. It was quite funny. He was the smallest of his litter. You could literally hold him in the palm of your hand when he was young. He had the softest fur that felt like silk. It was unlike anything you'd ever feel. He also KNEW how to snuggle (and practically suffocate my father lol!) But, even still, this is a really sad day for us. We just said goodbye to Oscar not that long ago. It has been a really hard year. Today sucks. But we love you lots, Felix. And we miss you so, so much already... 🖤 Felix Watkins (2009-2025)

Saw Jurassic World Rebirth at our local Regal tonight and almost regret it. Not the movie, it was actually okay, but going to Regal at all. 45mins of ads PAST advertised showtime? And there were 10 minutes of ads before showtime, too. So, 55 total. 15mins of ads I understand, but this is excessive.
Review that reads "Not sure why I subject myself to these sometimes, but I did, so here are some brief thoughts (spoiler-free): I didn’t like many of the characters, but thought there were three specific ones of the starting group that were well developed. Really not sure why the one person even bothered grabbing the thing they did (if you see it, you’ll know what I mean) but whatever. The side story was sweet; they played their characters well. Overall I thought the movie was fine…just might not be a rewatch for me."
