I wouldn’t go so far as to use the term “psy-op,” but the Left has absolutely worked in tandem w/the Right over the past 25(+?) years to reframe politics not as instrumentalist, but instead as an expression of optics, personality, style, etc. (thus depressing Democratic votes).
