Kalshi market making division absolutely doesn’t“set prices” given that anyone else can post a competing market or trade against them. It’s completely different.
Does Citadel, or anyone else effectively “set prices” on the NYSE? No.

The $140k poverty headline belies some real problems he details in the post about tax code penalties that come with increasing household earnings from $40k to $100k. It’s legitimately hard for families to raise two or more kids on that income range in this country.

Thanks for this. I was a cross country/track athlete and have always bonked past 60 minutes of exercise. I just assumed I have very limited glycogen reserves.

It’s an amazing experience to dine in some of the old school restaurants in NYC that still have sound deadening design elements (big velvet drapes, lots of upholstered surfaces - including ceilings, etc.). There are still a few of these in the upper west and east sides.

Curious for @montanaskeptic.bsky.social's take on the timing here. Schreiber says his next case (Maldonado v Tesla) is in 75 days. Is that the start of the actual jury trial? Or just initial hearings?

Additional issues include meeting anti smog standards, etc. Ethanol is hard to beat.

I'm really surprised by this. The video was brought up by the CA DOJ attorney during oral arguments for the pre-hearing conference held to address Tesla's 1st amendment objection to the case.
