It’s always a treat to hear you calling a game, Mark. I’m a Sac fan in Detroit (long story) and the excitement you and the rest of the NBCSC team bring to every game on TV was a big part of me getting into this team. 👑

this seems like an 80-20 issue that every politician would be talking about if money didn’t control our politics

Maybe! Should we privatize Medicare? Should the federal government have any power at all or should we let the corporations manage everything just in case we elect bad people?

They’re DISGUSTING. FanDuel Sports Network (a concept that shouldn’t even be legal) does the same thing so when the Pistons have away games it looks like there’s an ad for a Detroit law office on the court in Milwaukee.

Nolan: *uses every cinematic tool at his disposal to emphasize the importance of the top and tantalize the viewer into wanting to know if it’s a dream or not*

also Nolan: “ah ha, if you care about that then you missed the point!”

Who would you say is an example of a moderate Dem who isn’t backed by corporations? Fetterman?

Who are the Dems who love private health insurance on principle and aren’t taking money from health insurers?

I would have no problem voting for a “moderate” Dem if I could find one who isn’t loaded with corporate donations

But if you think about it you realize that Jake’s whiteness is a liability to him and the Na’vi through both movies and the only aspect of his whiteness that gives him any advantage is his understanding of the stakes / his knowledge of the unimaginable depravity of white people.

Valve for all its faults (willfully turning Steam into a casino for children) is privately held and so much of this AI mania is publicly traded companies trying to *appear* like they’re keeping up with the times/getting in on the ground floor of something to satisfy stupid investor-speculators.

Aw! Not sure if I could have made that work in 90 seconds but I think that’s a really nice idea!
November 29, 2025 at 4:01 AM
I’m glad! Thank you!

Thank you!!

I made a 90-second horror/comedy film for a local competition last month.

No AI used in the production!

The Kings this year are a team with an unviable roster trying to succeed through sheer heart and love while their front office attempts to systematically demoralize each player

once again begging you to read the news.

$30M in support for our national guard base (not building planes), relaxed tariffs, and Asian carp support probably forthcoming.

maybe it’d be cooler if she just shot him, but she won’t, and neither will you.
Trump Signs Executive Order Walking Back Some Auto Tariffs
Most levies on imported cars and car parts will remain in place, but automakers have secured some relaxation of the trade policy.

“As the cousin of a veteran, I strongly support America’s military and our first-strike capabilities. While presidential control over nuclear weapons is essential to our national security, I am deeply concerned that the administration is selecting targets without adequate oversight from Congress.”

Politicians are inoculated to throngs of protesters on their doorstep but normie businesses are not and are much more likely to make minor changes to their strategy to stop a bad news cycle/get people off their lawn.

Haven’t the fascists already taken over? For the next two years the only democratic solution to the ongoing fascism seems to be guys like Chuck Grassley seeing Trump as a liability.

Also, it’s maddening because if Dems were in power they’d invent a reason why they couldn’t/shouldn’t do this.

Peter Meijer (R-MI) voted to impeach Trump and in exchange the Democratic Party spent half a million dollars boosting his MAGA primary opponent.
