You're reading into my intent somewhat recklessly. I was simply adding to the discussion, not casting generalised aspersions on an entire culture group. I assure you, there was no aim to attack you - just to add some information that locals were aware of that you may not have encountered.

The point was understood - as evidenced by the other bystander who rushed one of the offenders after they had been disarmed and proceeded to 'stomp his head' while he was lying on the ground. My point was that even if the will was there for Ahmed, the means were not.

Hi, Australian here. My understanding is that Ahmed had never fired a gun before (as would be true of the vast majority of Australians) and likely did not know how to. Familiarity does make such things easier.

The vast majority of those convicted at Nuremburg WERE sentenced to hanging (only Goring avoided this by committing suicide) - so, technically, Nuremburg does fit your prescribed justice perfectly well.

I take it you're unaware of the issue of Hitler worship in India? It's a big problem, swastikas adorn shopfronts there everywhere. It's likely she believes the same thing JD does.
