I think the thread came off as solidly anti-humanities, whether that was the intent or not (I doubt it was). I think you wanted to say that AI makes humanities COURSES redundant (b/c students can use AI to make a good-enough essay) but not necessarily saying humanities study itself is irrelevant.

Not only are they counting that, but the authors imply that the continued excessive deaths post-vaccine means that the lockdowns/school closings/etc) were more dangerous (which isn't supported by their data). Thankfully some of the rapid responses point this contradiction out.
