Hi #artistsofbluesky, I'm an artist based in Virginia - I like working with oils and pastels! I went to school for illustration but lately have gone back to my roots of drawing from life. My favorite artists are Cézanne, Helen Frankenthaler, and Jon Klassen 👋

It only took me three years but I finally finished Bram Stoker's Dracula. I started it the summer after I graduated from college and now it's done!! And I really enjoyed it!

Hi, it's been a long time. I've been slowly picking away at a portrait that's kept my focus but I've been trying to keep up with a daily sketchbook practice. I'm not very consistent with that... But here's some recent pages :)

Sun, Jan 5th. Pastel on gessoed Bristol paper. 19"x 24"

This was a fun experiment. Really getting the handle of pastels and enjoying them. I purchased some proper pastel paper the other day and am looking forward to the next painting!!
