I have no knowledge of anything related to this band other than this record. The MUSIC is so good on this. The lead vocals are kind of histrionic in a way I either love or hate, generally! Don't mind it here!

I'm not really following this story - I don't care about the NFL and only listen to sports radio during the baseball season - but WTF?

I used to spend a week in some old cabins on Lake Mich. just north of Manistee. One afternoon, my gf's father fell asleep on the screened porch listening to a baseball game on a transistor radio on his tummy. When I returned from the lake, the radio was playing "Love Me Tender". Mother of God!

I mean - I think it can safely be called "mumble rap". There was an unhinged quality to it that I liked. Sort of the way I feel about ODB's "I Can't Wait" - which is insane, and an all-time banger, and at some point it occurred to me his vocals on that sounded like Coltrane. OK!

That Veeze alb blew my mind this year (this record was released in 2023).

For some reason, it cracked the code for me on what I would have previously dismissed as "mumble rap". Like, I "heard" it for the first time!
