I’m looking at creating a workflow for mixing. How is everyone setting up their tracks to be mixed? Kick and Bass first? Do you arrange it based on what each track looks like on the frequency spectrum?

During the initial gain staging process, would it make sense to arrange my tracks according to the where the take up the majority of the frequency spectrum? For example low end being the first one or two tracks, low mid 3-5, mid 6-8, etc.

I’m new here, how do I find a circle of musicians, producers, and music enthusiasts?
