I sure did come home and [Garbled Static Noise] all night. Idk if it was just my energy being low from how busy work has been, my meds not being at the right strength because the doctor’s assistant didn’t fill the right prescription, or just. *Gestures at everything*

Would be cool to make a new year resolution but what I want to do is more drawing, more woodworking, more prep for my campaign, more social time with friends, more time with family, learn more coding, relearn piano, do more 3D modeling, learn animation, organize my basement, fix up my house- etc.

How do I explain to my psychiatrist that I’m doing fine mentally until I get home from grocery shopping ready to make chili and can’t because there’s no room on the counter because of stuff that wasn’t put away and there’s no room on the stove because it’s covered in dirty pans and can’t wash those-

Built a desk, unfortunately needed to compromise on my original intent to have the legs fold up. It would have worked but would have wobbled too much for me to draw on.

Working on an arcade cabinet. Most of the way through the overall frame of it, but I still need to drill and rout the holes for the joystick and buttons.
Might need to wait until after Christmas to finish it. But I can start getting it ready to paint at least.

The way “AI” gets used as such a catchall makes people think the the technology used to make big boob anime porn or write essays for lazy highschoolers is the Exact Same Thing as the technology used to identify cancer cells or count potatoes on a conveyor, and that one can’t exist without the other.

Woodworking has been nice. The real big benefit is finally knowing what to ask for Christmas so I don’t flounder.
The answer is wood clamps. Any size, every size, more is better, never too much.
I think I’ll spend my bonus on a table saw and/or a jigsaw… maybe a router too depending on how much.

In lighter news, I got my orange pi working properly with Android, so I could set it up as a mini-emulator pc if I wanted. Might still try out Armbian though, since I want to do more than just GBA/DS games on it.

I’m now planning out several projects… one is a potential arcade cabinet for touhou games/emulated stuff, another is a kotatsu…

People on Twitter are shitting on blender because it’s too hard to learn :(. Sorry there’s no “make 3D character button”, you have to learn 3D modeling in the same way you need to learn to draw. Blender is leaps and bounds easier to use now than a decade ago, and unfortunately if you want to do
