The new Xbox App on Windows (mainly meant for the Rog Xbox Ally full screen mode at the moment) also attaches to the GOG service so you can see your GOG games in the Xbox app. It's a giant circle! 😁

If GOG could get the big Japanese studios' games that I want to play, even if it 6-12 months later, I'd buy all my games there. 😍 to NISA for all the Falcom games they've got on GOG!

I went flashcart and OG hardware crazy originally. Then I got the MiSTer and novelty and nostalgia are the only reason I fire them up directly anymore.

Crazy part is I still have our childhood NES carts, boxes and manuals.
I just never use the carts even after getting the NES modded, an SD Cart and an rt4k. Fun for a time on OG hardware but long term, MiSTer for me.

Until you run into game breaking bugs like the random one in the water area of Blaster Master. Nothing quite like spending 4 or 5 hours playing though a game with no save points to have the game just freeze but the music keeps playing. 4 or 5 playthroughs until you finally magically avoid the bug.

I bought a block of coins and "pay" for the 2 books I read in Manga Up. I avoid the "but you can read for free if you do this 🐂💩" because I'm willing to pay.
For those that don't have that luxury... piracy is sadly an option and probably a better one.

Price seems about in line w/ what the set w/ the "complete" edition (ova+movie) was selling for in Japan. Reverse import fears I guess.
Nabbed mine for ~$145.Took some convincing to get my wallet over that hump.
Now if only someone would tell us what's happening w/ Frontier & Delta.

If you want/need the OVA version, beg borrow and steal to get the money. License holder request is, no OVA outside of this version.

I've owned the original PC release since about a week after it came out. Bought the gog version ages ago so I wouldn't have to figure out how to install on a modern computer.

I'm still holding out hope we'll get Flash in North America. Love my JP DVDs but would be great to have all of it here.

This is the third time owning the series. I still have the JP DVD box, the Discotek DVD set, and now this.
The JP box is still superior to anything else. Such a fun way to deal with a box and slip case for it...

I'm hoping CH video encode is better than the DVD.
But Photon. It's a weird guilty pleasure but still fun show. Going to dip into it again after having not watched the DVD in maybe 15-20 years?
