I don't know a single person who uses social media the way it was intended in the mid 2000s. Seemingly no one uses it to share photos and videos with friends and family, and to stay in touch more easily with folks who live far away

Interesting. I think 4 and 5 are critical for understanding Akiyama and Saejima. 5 in many ways feels like a second draft of 4, but the Haruka idol stuff is pretty important in 5.

I think Yakuza is a series like this. There are a few logical starting points, but you'll only get a fraction of what it has to offer if you don't start at the beginning.
