• A full adaption is such a precious experience. MHA is such a fun, optimistic series that’s hard to find these days bc of prevalent cynicism. I’ll always hold it dear to my heart 🥹 PLUS ULTRA ✊

• Timeskip was fun! Gentle Bakugo pulls at my heartstrings. I wished we had more Todoroki, we barely saw him this season but it makes sense since him vs. Dabi wrapped up in s7. Teacher Izuku looks so good 🥲 When he said “shounen” and smiled at that boy, I Detroit-smashed the air.

I wished Izuku used his intelligence to win as opposed to it being a battle within their consciousness, since it shows he was a hero through his own merit as opposed to OFA. But it’s fine, lol, I enjoyed it regardless.
• Seeing everyone cheer Izuku on, ahhh. YOU CAN DO IT, DEKU 🥹🥹🥹😭😭😭💚💚💚

ALSO, WHEN HE SMILED? Fell to my knees. Must suck to be a Bakugo hater during these eps, lol.
• Honestly, bc the Bakugo vs. AFO battle was so amazing, I felt let down by Izuku vs. Shigaraki 😔 +

I always wished we had a dedicated hero arc for Bakugo where he really came into his own, and we got that here. Plus, Izuku would freak the heck out about going up against baby AFO.
• Got emotional when Bakugo was flying, laughing, and breaking buildings 🥹🧡 +

• All Might’s moves being named after Class 1-A, I will cry a river, I will cry a waterfall. Idgaf about Stain though, ngl 😂
• I have a lot of beef with Horikoshi’s writing, but making Bakugo deal with All for One is such a goated decision. +

MHA s8: 10/10
• Omg. Omggggggg. My eyes were so blessed watching s8. The show was always of good quality, but the art and animation were in 8K this time bc DAMN. I binged it in like, two sittings, so pardon if my thoughts are jumbled, lol. +

• Just a comforting, albeit bittersweet, watch that makes me grateful for my loved ones!

His kindness is unmatched, and I want him to be happy and know he’s loved 🥹

• Lovely supporting cast as well! The Dogs Circle is so charming, and I wish I can be friends with them, LOL. I’m particularly biased toward the mid-ranks and Mustache bc they’re so silly 😭 +

Natsume’s Book of Friends: 10/10
• Currently on s6! I’m so impressed by this show. It’s primarily episodic and slice-of-life, but each ep is so engaging. It touches upon themes of loneliness and what a home is, and Natsume, istg, is one of the best anime MCs around. +

• Peak art style. Our main trio and the Bridon boys look good af 😮‍💨 The chibis from The Daily Life in the Lightime shorts are super cute, too!

• Constantly keeps you on your toes, you’d think smth’s concluded one way but SIKE! It’s a strength and a weakness. On one hand, esp in s2, the story can drag on and it’s like, enough already 😔 On the other hand, it builds tension and adds to the mystery aspect of the show. +
