the tldr is thus: do ur own thing! even if a lotta the engagement comes from the community challenge, your art is always yours and people like me will still adore it beyond the flavor of the month themes. Forcing art is anathema to the very concept of artistic expression.

Like to be clear i dont wanna minimize ur obvious vent post, sometimes a dog just gotta be a lil frustrated yknow? but i have witnessed a lot of artists who take on their art in a more regular capacity who end up burnt out because it becomes more than just a personal hobby that brings joy.
