I have yet to need "AI" for anything. I can write my own paragraphs, I can write my own programming code, I can play my own music and create my own videos . . . I have NO IDEA how AI can be required as part of any creative process.

I can see Donaldson not being for everyone. It is indeed difficult to understand why we should empathize with Covenant, or Angus Thermopyle. They are just shit human beings. It's like watching a train wreck . . .

He's clearly meant to be the anti-hero. There is nothing redeeming about him, he's a leper and a rapist and a terrible unkind person. A similar formula is used in The Gap series, I believe the main character is totally reprehensible.
