Congress has long been ruled by deep pockets & seduced many an idealist to “play along” instead of legislate for their voters. The Trump mess comes from decades of institutional schemes to hurt working, poor, non-white citizens. It won’t go away with Trump. It does when schools teach history.

For those who can’t fathom how Trump supporters are loyal despite all the evidence, keep in mind that Southern public schools teach “The Lost Cause” perspective of the Civil War, a glorified view of slavery, and Union oppression of “innocent” white people. US education is not monolithic.

Sadly, it is highly probable that ACA subsidies won’t be passed by 12/20 which means extended blaming throughout the election year. Again, no GOP solutions or governance just campaigning. Vote all GOP out and watch the roaches scatter. Make politicians accountable to VOTERS.
