There are chunks of the road along the levee that have ongoing severe subsidence, not helped by the city’s apparent allergy to traffic calming measures.

We’re right behind the levee in the North End. Not only worried about that, but the levees prevent water from draining toward the river underground, from the side opposite the river, so there are pump stations that get overwhelmed.

JFC stop reflexively trotting out that Bob Dole criticism. Often it’s a sign of more self awareness, not less. Psychological distancing is a valid tool. The problem with Trump is that he’s saying the things he wants other people to say about him.

HEMA, from what I understand, assumes a duel, not a battle with many opponents from multiple directions.

Turning is valid in context. This is not HEMA. My own context would not have me turn without the sword, but a lot of other arts have whip-like movements where you do.
