autodocodec looks very useful, I'm motivated to try it out. The beginning of the episode is also a nice little introduction to aeson. I also appreciate the thumbnail :D

But I like the fact that I can throw all the functions from Data.List at String. Is this doable with Data.Text somehow?

I remember my first AOC with Haskell. 100 lines of "let ... in"s and afterwards seeing the 1 line "solve = zip . fmap . boopetyboop" solutions on reddit. Now I'm down to 30 lines.

Nice! I can't always follow some of the more esoteric episodes tbh, but this one immediately seems very useful to me.
