Put plainly, Elon Musk is not a moral or virtuous person when it comes to Ukraine. This shouldn't be hard to believe because his own messaging about empathy is quite clear. But then there is mountains of evidence showing Russia using starlink and musk being silent on the topic.

I have read quite a bit about this, if you have any evidence to the contrary other than public denials I will read it. By your comments you clearly are not reading the links I posted, you are just looking at headlines, already knowing what its about, then posting from your already galvanized opinion

You are saying that musk donated terminals and then the US later paid for service, and NONE of these starlink identifiers were written down? They had no idea what they were paying for or which units were receiving service?

This is all really to insolate themselves from unrelated cheating that they are going to attempt. Just like 2024. Who looked into himi cheating? No one. Because we are all conditioned to not question it. It made it trivially simple to cheat.

Yes, arrested and tried according to the local law in Minnesota. Put it to a jury of peers, not a magistrate judge deciding qualified immunity. Not appealed all the way up to the supreme court so they can issue a non-binding non-public shadow resolution

This is EXACTLY what they are doing now. Only now since the funding has been cut off first by Starlink and then the US government (thanks only to Musk DOGEing USAID) their funding comes from different countries and places and its a bit more complicated, but obviously this was always an option.

So you have a situation where you know all the starlink identifiers of the Ukranians. Service is supposed to be not allowed in Russia. Therefore make starlink not work for russia and ukraine, EXCEPT for the registered starlink identifiers.

So I am saying that in the beginning of the war, Musk specifically gave them some units. Those had to be turned on individually and serviced by their Starlink Identifier. Therefore they knew the numbers. When the us funded it, they had to pay for them by Starlink Identifier. Therefor they knew them

And by "they" i mean either the US government or SpaceX. As a subscriber service they can differentiate between different units, obviously because that's how the provide service to specific units and bill them.

If he didn’t cut off the US funding they would have known the serial numbers of every one sent. Thats why they have to register them now. Even this is no technological breakthrough. Ask any programmer if it’s hard to exclude individual units when you already know the numbers.

The Crimea thing was not the main complaint. It was the counteroffensive. The Crimea narrative was confusing things. Once it became clear to Ukrainians that Musk was going to be playing games they shut up about it.

There were tens of thousands being used by Russia. Ukraine has been asking him for 3 years to stop playing both sides. He would just get angry and start insulting them. I’m saying the decision was arbitrary, not a technical constraint. unless you think this man is stupid

Administrative nightmare? He could have turned them off except for the ones being purchased by the US govt? How is it he could turn it off for Hamas and not Israel? Why not do the whitelist before? It took them 2 days from the moment he decided to do it. And it much more complicated now than before

Other than at the beginning and at the end, Elon musk has been hostile to Ukraine the whole time. It is not an accident. After he turned it off suddenly, the US was paying for it. Then he had DOGE eliminate USAID which is what had been providing the funding and logistics for starlink.
