Here it is! I add a teaspoon of vanilla extract before forming the dough and I usually roll the dough into a log and chill it before slicing into rounds. www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/shor...
Shortbread

Exactly that! The west of Ireland is famous for 'dry stone' walls...no mortar or plaster. The idea was that they were easy to repair if a part was dislodged or toppled.. usually be animals. It's a UNESCO protected skill now! ich.unesco.org/en/RL/art-of...

There are walls on the farm that were built by my ancestors..we have records going back to the early 1700s! We've been here for a long time!
