I think this was my first lens (bought used around 2006? probably from Ken Rockwell's advice, on a 350d, then 60d). Pretty happy with it, some chromatic aberration in my copy, the rubber focus / zoom rings deteriorated into a sticky mess after 10 years or so, and I haven't cleaned that up yet.

Is this mostly the color designs, or was lead added to borosilicate glass for some reason? I was aware of some some corelle dinnerware patterns containing lead.
