In the photos I've seen of them, they appear not to have pupils at all. Just two little shiny black marbles.

I was pleasantly surprised by Nibbles the beaver. Prior to the movie, the only thing I saw of her was the bootleg clip from D23, which was ... unimpressive. But she turned out to be really fun.

Most of these seem really skewed in Twitter's favor, but the "forced jurisdiction" one is actually pretty common for online services. Legal suits against Bluesky must be filed in Delaware, for example.

A Sony Mavica? Oh, you mean like this?

Things have come around full circle, then. Popular songs were typically less than three minutes in length up to the 70s, and even acts as big as the Beatles and Queen got pushback when they wanted to go longer.

If you anticipate that your audience is going to be people on their phones, then the stacked format works well. It's easier to scroll down than side to side.

If you might print, you can design so the panels can be arranged either way, but that's harder.

Loved panel two, by the way.

In my experience, it's usually your survivors that will decide what goes on your headstone, so be nice to them now.

They should put your PFP on there; that'll keep future generations guessing.

I'm a software engineer, and I'm impressed by the technical achievement, but if you're using AI to create fine art, you're missing the point. You're paying for the vision behind creating the work, not the actual craftsmanship. That can be taught (or programmed), inspiration can't.

I dunno about young, but "dumb" stays with you on and off throughout your life. It's the human (and folf, evidently) condition.

If you read the story, it's about the contrast in the reception given to ads that use genAI versus the ones that don't. So, the lack of AI is the story.

Even then, you'd need a way of handling accounts that *used* to be trusted but since went rogue, people falsely reporting an account as good or bad, and so on. Not to mention a way of handling labeling disputes.

Also, I didn't realize how close the Italian and English languages were. Buongiorno!

This might already have been done! @lach.girlfailure.zone has set up an Artist labeler, @creatorlabeler.bsky.social, that's intended for non-AI accounts. (You're even labeled with it.) I don't know how well it's vetted and maintained, but it's a start.

Seeing this reminds me of the Sony D5 (or D50) Discman I had. We didn't get the optional battery add-on, but I could now play CDs in my room, and took it with me to college. It was a major life-enhancer. Lasted about a decade before it finally quit working, too.

I like to think that the teacher posted it ironically, or perhaps to illustrate that AI is not as infallible as it's hyped to be.

Or, who knows, maybe they just put it up in the teachers lounge for a laugh.

Something I've been wondering about: How do you watch a movie wearing a fursuit? Aren't they notoriously hard to see out of?

The "U smell delicious" is the detail that sells it to me.

Gotta give the AI credit where it's due: I likely wouldn't have imagined the cute cat-headed bird critter it used to illustrate "snake." It gives new meaning to the phrase "being in the catbird seat."

Rishi's too nice to rat you out to the authorities, though.
